A little further.
A little freer.

Ten years ago, I ran to become someone.
Today, I run because I love how it feels.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF FINISH LINE

What if the best part
isn't getting there?

It began with a five-kilometer loop in Tokyo. Races, medals, a pause—and eventually, a different reason to lace up.

Now I run for the feeling, the views, and the ideas that arrive along the trail. This December, I’m taking that joy to Patagonia. Come along.

A long way from that first loop.

My next goal is El Cruce, based at Cerro Catedral near Bariloche in Argentine Patagonia. It’s a chance to carry what I’ve found on the trails of Cangshan into a very different landscape.

*Groups run on different three-day schedules within December 5–11. My group dates will be added once confirmed.
